Overview of The Madison System™

The Madison System™ is a comprehensive browser-based application that supports all commercial lending, with an emphasis on commercial real estate loans. There are seven products from loan origination to portfolio management. Based on the same core database, all products are fully integrated. Select one or all systems, and configure your selection to your business practices.

The rich features of the two loan origination systems, one for portfolio lenders and another for brokers and mortgage bankers, let you originate more loans without increasing staff. The Portfolio Management System provides more information with less effort to help you increase the efficiency of portfolio risk management and administration. Two specialized systems increase the efficiency of the collateral inspection and loan review processes. Finally there is a comprehensive reporting system and data import utility.

The Madison System™ is a shared resource that can be accessed by all authorized personnel. Users enter data only once and it can then be shared by everyone, eliminating redundant data entry and increasing your efficiency. You will eliminate isolated silos of information that cannot be shared with others, speeding the flow of information throughout your organization. All Systems include the robust set of features listed below.


Secure Access - Access What You Need When You Need It
Each user’s ID and password grants them immediate access to the parts of the System for their business role – no need to wade through information they don’t need.

Configured to Business Practices of Each Client
The System is configured to the business terminology and practices of each client through dozens of user-specified fields such as collateral types, markets, loan officers, officers, regions, loan purposes and many more. No need to be burdened with fields or terminology that don't fit your practices.

Target Modules on Important Business Functions
Configure System modules to target specific business functions such as loan origination, portfolio risk management and administration, loan review, and data maintenance so you can focus all the System’s rich features on your important business functions.

Custom Installations
Clients may select a custom installation with reports and programming features tailored to their unique needs. Get a custom solution at far less cost than developing your own system.

Department or Enterprise
The highly flexible Madison System can be installed for a single Department or group within a Department, or as an enterprise wide solution that provides many users with the rich features of the Madison System™.

Capture Loan Complexity
The sophisticated Madison System database can handle all the complexity of commercial loans including fixed and floating rates, loan commitments, multi-collateral loans, cross collateralized loans, construction loans, and many more features.

Relationship Management
You can present loans and other information grouped by customer relationship or any other client-defined "relationship type" desired. Create relationship types that monitor calling relationships, lending limits, insider loans or other relationship types. Managing and reporting on relationships is a breeze with Madison’s Relationship Manager.

View all Contacts by Loan
For each loan, view information for all the important contacts including borrowers, sponsors, guarantors, referral source, attorneys, property managers, and many more.

View all Loans by Customer
For each customer, view their contact information, all their loans, and all their active tickler events. See all of your customer’s important information in one place.

Comprehensive and Flexible Reporting
Choose from a library of over a hundred reports that provide comprehensive, flexible reporting at the click of a mouse button. For added convenience, many reports allow users to group, sort and filter report contents.

Automatic Report Distribution
Automatically distribute the reports you choose to officers on a scheduled basis (daily, weekly, monthly) to alert them to important information.

Technology Platform
The Madison System has a browser-based front-end and a SQL Server database. It can be hosted on client servers, or on secure third party servers. Access the Madison System anytime from anywhere – office, home, customer office, or on the road.
