Madison Portfolio Management™ is a comprehensive set of tools, analytics and reports for the risk management and administration of commercial loan portfolios, with an emphasis on the unique requirements of commercial real estate loans. The many features of the Portfolio Management module listed below provide unprecedented ease of use.

This remarkable system enhances risk management with many important embedded analytics such as portfolio stress tests, mark-to-market analysis, and loan migration analysis. You can quickly identify your exposure to tenants and borrowers with the click of a mouse button. And all the System's features can be focused on the total portfolio or sub portfolios such as the on-book portfolio, purchased loans, warehouse loans, or other sub-portfolios that clients define.

Portfolio administration is made easier with the extensive and flexible tickler system that will remind you when financial statements, tax returns, operating statement, valuations or other events are due. And you can create letters requesting data, including a description of the most recent information in your files and the requested data. Together with robust data validation and administrative reports, portfolio administration will be easier than ever before.

Capture the historical data needed to develop loan grade migration matrices, prepare the matrices, and project future grade distributions at the click of a mouse button.

Portfolio Stress Tests
Apply user-defined stress test values to the entire portfolio to identify loans that may be at risk, or that are less able to withstand adverse conditions. Estimate defaults, extensions, losses and loan loss reserves. Project losses over a 10-year time horizon based on a sophisticated set of user-specified assumptions.

Loan Covenant Violations
Receive notification of loans that violate their covenants or loans that are approaching a violation.

Stratification Reports
Use the highly efficient portfolio stratification system to stratify the portfolio on nearly any field including dollar values, dates, ratios or text items (e.g., collateral type or state). For fast reporting, users may select the number of strata to display and the report will automatically create the break points.

Mark-To-Market
Mark the entire loan portfolio to market for risk management or accounting purposes according to user defined parameters.

Tickler System
Set the Tickler System to remind you when to update financial statements, tax returns, operating statements, valuations, insurance, inspections or any other task. Receive notification before the event is due and after events are late.

Prepare Letters and Documents
Prepare information request letters and other documents that pull data from the System so you can avoid entering the same data multiple times.

Document Storage
Store any electronic file in the System such as Excel, Word, PDF, photos or maps. Avoid the need for a separate document management system to store inspection reports, collateral photographs, letters, collateral valuations, and many other documents.

Operating Statement History
Capture and present detailed operating statements for each property or business. Use a default chart of accounts for each collateral type or business and then modify it as needed. Display reports showing multi-year financial statement histories.
